What our athletes are saying…

“I’ve recommended Coach Rachel time and time again because of the way she’s helped me improve my running fitness. Before I was just winging it, but with Coach Rachel, I have a solid plan which creates solid results. I was stuck at 5-6 mile max runs before she started coaching me. Now I’ve run two half marathons (less than 6 months apart from each other) and don’t even blink an eye when she schedules runs for me of 6+. I love how she creates variety in my running schedule. The variety keeps me engaged and not bored. She’s always available to answer questions and/or gets back to me in a timely manner and works with you to create the best running schedule to meet your goals. I’ve never regretted signing up and I just keep wanting to build my running goals to stay on longer with Coach Rachel!”

“Coach Rachel isn’t just a coach, she’s a friend, cheerleader and sounding board. I’ve been running for 15 years and never worked with a coach until I started working with Rachel and it’s been so incredibly helpful. Not only have I never been this consistent with my mileage, but I have never been so motivated to keep getting better and progress in this sport. Her feedback is ongoing, so I never felt like I was “alone” which is so valuable, especially in a sport that can sometimes be isolating. I can’t recommend working with her more!”

“Rachel is the most kind, flexible and patient coach ever! She is someone who you want to have you back. She has helped me understand running more and makes me feel safe to come to her with any issues – running or not 🙂 I love that she adapts a plan for you and is always checking in when she knows your goals. I took away a 44 minute PR on marathon #3 with her guidance and cannot wait to see what she has in store for me and marathon #4.”

“Signing up with Rachel was one of the best decisions I made for myself this year. In January I set several goals for myself, which not only included pace goals for specific distances, but also to become a better and happier runner. I look forward each month to see what plans she has for me, and with her support and encouragement I have nailed every goal I have set. Following Rachel’s plans have helped make me a faster runner and have increased my overall fitness and endurance. Without her support and encouragement, I would have never known all of this was possible for me at 51 years of age!”

“I started with Coach Rachel 2 years ago. Not only has she helped me to improve my speed and hit my half marathon PR, she has also helped me learn it’s ok to have an off race, it’s ok to miss a run if life gets in the way, it’s ok if you need to walk for a minute. I don’t have to be disappointed in myself for not being perfect. She has also brought the RWBW running family into my life and the friendships I have made are irreplaceable.”

“Having the right plan set in place so that all I have to do is execute it amazing. The feedback and adjustments on the fly has been integral in keeping me healthy and hitting a Boston Qualifying time. Rachel knows what she is doing. She really listens when I give her feedback on how I’m feeling with training so we can make the right decisions to continually move the needle forward.”

“When I first contacted Coach Rachel my main objective was to get out of the injury “pit” I was in. She not only coached me out of that pit, but she gave me the confidence- and training plan that helped me prove that yes, you can get faster at 70! Thanks Coach Rachel, for all your encouraging words and individualized training plans. I’m looking forward to what comes next!”

“I came to coach Rachel after being a hobby runner with not much race experience, I had dreams of being fast but no idea how to get there. My running history consisted of a multitude of injuries and being stuck at certain paces for years. Rachel never doubted me and my goals, some of which scared me to say out loud. She met me where I was both in running and life as a full-time working mom of two. I have worked with Rachel for about two years in that time I have run my first full marathon in the first year of coaching, and PR’d my half by 13 minutes and hit a PR in the 5k and 10k distances in the last year. Her knowledge, support and belief in me have brought my running to new levels, I can’t wait to chase unicorns with her support next year!”

“Rachel is very knowledgeable about training for any distance. Whether you’re trying to complete your first 5K or qualify for the Boston marathon, she’ll get you on the right track!”

“When I started working with Coach Rachel, I hit a major plateau in my running. I was focused on the half marathon distance because anything longer than that felt purely unachievable. Since then, I have not only PR’d my half marathon (which she ran right alongside me), but I also completed my first full marathon, something I NEVER thought possible. I love Rachel’s focus on injury prevention, fueling, and understanding that life just happens sometimes, and we adapt.”

“Coach Rachel has completely changed my running . She’s taught me the importance of your HR and how improvements take time and not to be discouraged. The daily trading is always different and it’s never boring. I’m always challenged and it makes me strive to be better . For myself and because she’s always watching lol.”

“I’ve never ran faster in my life. Coach Rachel helped me get into incredible shape and also build my confidence as an athlete. So glad I took the leap two years ago and signed up for coaching!”

“I have always struggled with accountability and Coach Rachel gave me just that. She was always supportive and tailored the plan just right after I began running postpartum.”

“Before Rachel, I had always done my own haphazard programming. I loved not having to worry about the programming during my training and also having more of a variety of training workouts that I think really helped boost my base, build strength and speed and fall in love with running again. Thank you so much Rachel!”

“I’m not a competitive runner — I do it for the fun, the friends and the goals I set and achieve for myself. Rachel is kind, compassionate and has set forth a plan to help me not only achieve my goals, but exceed them. She’s always available for a chat to help me figure out a plan to fuel and hydrate during races, as well as help calm my pre-race anxieties and ease the pressure I put on myself! She’s taken my running and fitness to a new level, and it’s been a life-changer!”

“Having Coach Rachel has been amazing for accountability and improvement! I started working with her in 2023 with a goal of running a 5K in under 27 minutes – and I achieved that goal at Porchrokr with a time of 26:59, which was just over 3 minutes of improvement from my previous 5K race that same summer! Fueling has also been a massive improvement, as I really wasn’t doing any beyond drinking water and Gatorade for my first marathon in 2022. I’ve become a stronger, faster, and healthier runner with her guidance, and I can’t wait to see which PRs I smash in my upcoming races!”

“Coach Rachel is so supportive, helpful, knowledgeable, and is really a great resource! I’ve used her for both training coaching and nutrition, and I gain insight from every interaction I have with her. I’ve had some health struggles, and she has been able to help me figure out what is right for my body as I’ve worked through my health struggles. She cares about those she coaches and is just an amazing human being!”

“Rachel is amazing! I’ve worked with her for the last two years and I’ve grown so much as a runner and person during that time. She has helped me go from running 5ks to running my first marathon. I originally started working with her to run my first 10k and she ended up encouraging me to run my first half marathon shortly thereafter. I could tell she really believed I could do it and it gave me the confidence I needed to be able to dig deep and run that race. She is a genuinely kind, caring person that wants to see her athletes succeed. She is extremely dedicated to her athletes’ success and it shows in the time and effort she puts into crafting run plans and providing real-time feedback. She gives feedback on EVERY single run! She’s also available via email or the Final Surge app for additional questions. If there is any doubt about choosing a run coach, I can assure you Rachel is the best!”

“I am a former sprinter who never imagined more than 4 miles at a time. Rachel’s expertise and guidance has completely changed my mindset. I have fallen in love with running again, but on a totally different level. She gives you all the tools to put in your tool box to succeed. I’ve recommended her to many fellow runners & cannot recommend her enough 🙌🏻”

“Every marathon before working with Coach Rachel I’ve gone in babying an injury. Always the result of over doing miles and workouts and under fueling. My race day was brutally hot so goals went out the window, however that was the first 26.2 miles I ran with a healthy body and thats a huge win for me!”

“What I appreciate most about Coach Rachel is her consistent encouragement, solid training plans, and responsiveness! My running fitness improved more than I thought during my first training cycle with her. This gave me the self belief that I could not only continue long distance running but possibly improve even in my late 40s! Working with Rachel is one of the very best decisions I’ve made.”

“Rachel is wonderful! She has helped me achieve my running and fitness goals over the years, and more to come! I could never use anyone else. She has exceeded my expectations, and I really appreciate all she does! Thanks Rachel!”

“Before working with Rachel, I was in a ‘casual relationship’ with running. Now I feel like I am MARRIED to running🤣. In all seriousness, it’s hard to put into words how great it is to work with Rachel. She is very knowledgeable about running, fueling, and hydration, and she is able to explain things in ways I understand. She is the best cheerleader and encourager. She makes me believe that I can accomplish any goal. She listens to all feedback, and answers any questions I have.”

“I have been working with Rachel since July of 2020 when she offered her Jump Start July program. I had done an online beginners program and felt I needed more than a one size fits all program. After that first month I was HOOKED. Having a coach helps me remain consistent in my training and allow myself to take much needed rest days without feeling guilty or as if I am not doing enough. She has shown me I am capable of much more than I think by prescribing workouts that sometimes scare me at first glance, and then I feel a HUGE sense of accomplishment when I am able to complete them. Her confidence in me helps me be more confident in myself!”

“I can’t thank my Coach Rachel enough for empowering me to embrace a healthier lifestyle through running. Her guidance and unwavering positivity have been instrumental in helping me achieve my goals and stay committed to my journey of fitness and well-being. From the beginning, she believed in me and encouraged me to push my limits, cheering me on every step of the way. Her knowledge and expertise provided me with invaluable insights into training, nutrition, and the importance of a balanced lifestyle. Through her encouragement, I found the motivation to lace up my shoes even on challenging days, knowing she was rooting for my success. Her support went beyond mere words; she actively engaged in my progress, offering practical advice and celebrating every milestone with genuine enthusiasm. Her belief in my potential gave me the confidence to set ambitious goals and pursue them relentlessly. Thanks to her encouragement and positive influence, I’ve not only improved my physical health but also cultivated a mindset of resilience and determination. I’ve discovered the joy of pushing my limits, discovering new strengths, and surpassing obstacles with her by my side. To anyone considering embarking on a journey of health and wellness, having a supportive network makes all the difference. I am incredibly grateful to have found such an uplifting coach who has not only empowered me to run but also has inspired me to lead a healthier, more active lifestyle. Her belief in me has been the catalyst for achieving more than I ever thought possible. Here’s to continued growth, health, and the invaluable support that makes it all worthwhile. And to more than a coach someone I can call a friend!”

“I have been working with Rachel for several months, and the transformation in my running has been incredible. Her expertise and dedication have kept me accountable to a rigorous training plan, leading to personal records in two races already, with one more race to go this summer. I have never felt stronger or more confident as a runner. Rachel knows how to push just the right amount to achieve results without causing burnout. Her encouragement and tailored approach have been key to my success. I highly recommend Rachel to anyone looking to elevate their running game.”
